Originally Amber and Gareth planned to get married in their home country of South Africa. But with ongoing travel restrictions, it didn’t seem likely that their wedding and the larger scale they had planned would go ahead.

In the end, they decided that the stress in the lead-up to the wedding wasn’t worth it and decided to elope instead and then have the big wedding party when they can finally return back home.

 

While in Byron Bay for another wedding they made the decision to tie the knot themselves and planned a morning to remember at Cabarita Headland. They awoke before sunrise and we adventure up the path to watch the morning glow rise above the sea. Their ceremony was short and emotional and they celebrated by popping a bottle of bubbly in front of the glistening sun. Truly a magical way to start the day!
