BYRON BAY BAREFOOT BEACH WEDDING

A couple of surfers living out in the north coast, better known to the people in their lives as Matt and Baija, had an intimate family and friend focused wedding day on the sand of the beautiful beaches of Broken Head, Byron Bay.

Just down the road of Cape Byron you’ll find the rugged coastal feature of Broken Head. The area which is known for its Aboriginal culture, rainforest walks, whale watching is actually the most eastern point of Australia.

I was so grateful wot be able to spent the day with two of the kindest of humans you could hope to spend a whole day with. Matt and Baija are deeply in love, and aside from their adventurous hearts and taste for the epic, their wedding day was a beautiful display of simple, timeless love. There wasn’t a dry eye on the beach when Matt read his vows to Baija and the cheer when they shared their first kiss was one of the loudest I've ever heard.

They danced out on the headland at sunset before returning to the reception for a party that went well into the night.
